365 Things to Do Around Cedar City #157…Your Choice

There is a lot of things going on today in the Cedar City Area. I hope that you can find something that you like to do!  First off there is the Grand Opening Event at the Fields at the Hills, with a ribbon cutting at 9:30 AM.  The games begin at 10 AM, there will be pitch, hit and run along with girl’s softball, boys baseball and adult leagues.

There is also a Walk in the Park to benefit the Volunteer Center of Iron County.  This will begin at the West Canyon Park, registration is at 8:30 AM, the walk begins at 9 AM.  The cost is $10.  For more information call (435) 867-8384

Enoch Arbor Day at the Enoch City Office at 9 AM.  There will be seminars, demonstrations and give away for both children and adults.

Scout Discovery Day at the Frontier Homestead State Park.  For more information call (435) 586-9290

SUU Ballroom Dance Company will have their Spring concert at the Randall L. Jones Theater at 7:30 PM the cost is $8 for adults, $6 for students.

SUU Percussion Festival Concert this is Free at 7:30 PM at the Thorley Recital Hall.

Gateway Preparatory Academy is having a 5K run and family fun walk.  Meet at the school at 9 AM.

There is also a class being hosted at Lady Bug Nursery and presented by SUU Professor Jim Crouch at 10 AM.  It is an hour long class called Annuals, Perennials & a whole lot more.  It is free and you can bring in some empty pots (under 16″) and by some plants and Lady Bug Nursery will donate some soil for them!

As you can see, you really do have a nice choice of things to do today!
