365 Things to Do Around Cedar City #158…Visit the National Parks…..

Here in Southern Utah we enjoy an abundance of National Parks and Monuments.  Just within an hour drive of Cedar City we have Zion National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument (which is still closed due to the high altitude and snow amounts.)  Within a three hour drive you could visit Bryce Canyon National Park, Escalante Grand Staircase National Park, parts of the Grand Canyon and Capitol Reef National Park, and weekend trips are easily done to Arches National Park and Canyon Lands National Park.

The best thing about this information is that National Park week began yesterday and runs through April 24th, during this week, entrance to all of the parks is FREE!  What a great time to enjoy these National Treasures!  So go and enjoy!

For those interested in the Arts, the Master Singers Easter concert will take place tonight at the Heritage Center at 7 PM.  105 North 100 East in Cedar City, it is also a Free Event.

There is lot’s to do without spending much money to do them!
