This is s another great cause. At Canyon View High School (166 W 1925 N, Cedar City) There will be an event called Benefit Community Night held 4:00pm to 9:00pm. The l proceeds will benefit Jarom Hlebasko, paralyzed in an accident in Nov. 2000. The funds that are gathered will help him undergo a new stem-cell procedure to help improve his life. The event will include several local groups performing, children’s carnival ($5 for unlimited activities or $1 per ticket), spaghetti dinner (salad and bread – $7 adults, $5 children or $25 family of five), pizza dinner ($2 per slice or $4 pizza & salad), drinks $1, silent auction, and an Extreme Zumba party will be from 8:00pm to 9:00pm. Admission to the event is $3 per person.
This is a great event, if I remember the story correctly, this young man was paralyzed in a sledding accident here in Cedar City. So this is another great opportunity to give back!
