This is really the eve of the Pioneer Days Weekend.  Here in Utah we celebrate the 24th of July as the day that the Pioneers entered into the the Salt Lake Valley, beginning the settling of the State of Utah.  It is like our state hood day.  Because the 24th is Sunday activities will spill over into Monday.  Some banks and businesses may be closed, so keep that in mind.  There will be parades in many cities either on Saturday or Monday, parades are usually fun, so enjoy them!  There will be more information on activities in the next couple of days, so stay tuned!
