365 Things to Do Around Cedar City #316…Sunday Solitude…

Yesterday Darcy and I were in Las Vegas for a seminar/training.  We like going to Las Vegas, it is fun to be in the hustle and bustle of a larger city.  We were also glad to get back to a lifestyle that is, well slower paced!  It is a great benefit to live in Cedar City and not face traffic congestion, smog and the other things.  Sure we don’t have the stores and restaurants variety of a big city, but we do just fine.  This morning I caught a whiff of the breeze with the hint of sage smell.  You don’t get that in a big city!

As far as activities on the calendar go, Brian Head’s Summer Activity Season ends today.  Winter activity Season will begin again in November.  You can still go up and enjoy the beauty of Brian Head, there just aren’t going to be any planned activities.

The Cedar Breaks National Monument’s Fall celebration continues.  Check out: http://nps.gove/cebr for more information.

All in all, it is just a good day to sit back and enjoy the beauty and laid back lifestyle that we enjoy in Cedar City!
