Today is sort of a day where the things that are scheduled are things that we have already discussed. Don’t get me wrong, they are great things to do but nothing really new is planned for today, so here goes. SUU is hosting Soviet Era Art: 1917-1991 Held Tuesday – Saturday 12:00pm (noon) to 7:00pm in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). This really should be an interesting glimpse into history. Admission is FREE. For information call 435-586-5432 or visit the gallery website at www.suu.edu/pva/artgallery.
SUU is also hosting “1,2,3,& Sometimes 4,” an exhibit of work from SUU 2D Design Students Held Monday to Friday in the South Hall (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). This is another work that could prove to be interesting. The great thing about these two exhibits is the price. Admission is FREE. For information call Jennifer 513-460-1844.
This is another one that could really be interesting and start another trend, Treasure Hunters Roadshow held 9:00am to 6:00pm at SpringHill Suites by Marriott (1477 S Old Hwy 91, Cedar City). With the popularity of shows like “American Pickers.” and “Antiques Roadshow” among many others this should be a fun and interesting event! For information call International Collectors Association 1-217-726-7590.
