365 Things to Do Around Cedar City…

Today in Cedar City there are some fun things to do.  There is an On Stage Dance Recital.  This will be held 6:30 PM in the auditorium at Canyon View High School (166 W 1925 N, Cedar City), admission is free.

Also The Orchestra of Southern Utah presenting Cedar City’s 71st annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah.  This will be held at 7:30 PM in the Heritage Center (105 N 100 E, Cedar City).  Admission is free, the choir will be conducted by Adrianne Tawa.  Be aware that seating is on a first come first choose basis so arrive early for best seating. The doors will open at 6:45 PM.  The lobby music will be provided by Southern Utah String Quintet on Sunday and the Accidental 5 Brass Quintet on Monday. The fun continues on Tuesday.  There will be a Children’s Story Time held from 12:30 to 1 PM.  This will be at the Frontier Homestead State Park Museum (635 N. Main St. Cedar City). For information call 435-586-9290.  Admission is free, so come out and enjoy a story.

Tuesday Night is also a great coup for the Cedar City area!  The Moscow Ballet will perform The Great Russian Nutcracker!   This begins at 7:30 PM in the Heritage Theater (105 N 100 E, Cedar City).  This is a rare event.  Admission is $30 adults and $15 for SUU and Iron County Students.
