A Whole new week with new things to do! This really is a fun time of year, the weather is getting warmer trees are budding and the rest of the plant world begins to green up. Anyway back to the purpose of this blog, what there is to do around Cedar City! Tonight, Monday, March 05, 2012, there is a Wine Dinner at the Depot Grill. This is in association with the Cedar City Wine Club. This begins at 6 PM; please call 435-865-7445 to make reservations (required). The cost is $77 per person.
Tomorrow Night there is the Tournees Film Festival at 7PM at the Sharwan Smith Center Theatre. The Films will be in French with English subtitles.
Tomorrow Night is also Story Time at 6;30 PM at the Cedar City Library in the Park. This is provided by the SUU Students.
Wednesday the Cedar City Music Arts presents the Pete Christlieb Jazz Ensemble. This concert will be at 7:30 at the Heritage Center. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for SUU and Iron County Students. The box office number is 435-865-2882
SUU Opera Presents “The Old Maid and the Thief” and “The Proposal”. This is at 7:30PM at the Thorley Recital Hall. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for Faculty and staff, $4 for students and children, SUU students will valid ID is free.
SUU Ballroom Dance presents “Dancing with the Stars” This is at the SUU Centrum Arena at 7:30. Admission is $8 for General Admission and $5 for Students.
Tae Kwon Do Class at the Aquatic Center 7 to 8:30 PM. The cost is $25 per month, proceeds benefit the Canyon Creek Women’s Crisis Center. You can sign up at the Aquatic Center.
