This is the the 365th post in this series. The ironic thing is that yesterday I met Dale Chumbly, who originated the idea of the 365 Things to Do blog in Vancouver, Washington. That was pretty cool! He had a great idea and one that I am not going to do away with completely, I just am not going to do it as a daily blog anymore, rather I am going to write it as two or three times a week blog.
Today’s events are these, first there will be a free Emergency Preparedness Seminar held 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Braun Books (25 N. Main St, Cedar City). Come learn how to prepare for an emergency. Learn about gear, techniques, and practical information for sheltering in place or getting out of town in the event of an emergency or natural disaster. Learn how to save money by using common products to supplement your emergency supplies. Understand techniques and tips for storing your products and slowly building your supplies. Dan Kidder, survival expert, author, television personality and managing editor of Sportsman’s News Magazine will present this brief but informative seminar and answer questions.
As something completely different the SUU Music Ensembles: Woodwind & Brass held 7:30pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Admission is FREE and the public is encouraged to attend. For tickets and information call 435-586-7872.
