Sorry about the delay, it was our Anniversary yesterday, so I am a day behind on everything. This is a pretty slow couple of days. In fact, there would be nothing really going one with out Southern Utah University. Tonight there is The SUU Music Ensembles: Piano & Strings held 7:30pm in the Thorley Recital Hall, Music Building (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Tomorrow SUU is hosting Breaking Bounds, Student Dance Concert held at 7:30pm in the Auditorium Theatre (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Tickets are $10 for general admission, and $5 for students. For tickets please call 435-586-7872.
SUU is also hosting The Black and White Artwork Exhibit: Flashback; An Era of Black & White held in the South Hall (SUU Campus, 351 W University Blvd, Cedar City). Arranged by students of Gallery & Museum Practices Class. Admission is FREE and the general public is encourages to attend. This goes on to tomorrow night as well.
One more thing happening at SUU is the SUU Ceramics Guild Holiday Sale held 10:00am to 4:00pm in the Living Room, Sharwan Smith Center (SUU Campus, 35 W University Blvd, Cedar City). The Holiday Sale features a colorful variety of gift items and table ware created by students who are Ceramics Majors for purchase. The proceeds from the event go to support the visiting artist program in Ceramics and to teach a useful form of professional activity to Ceramics majors.
