This Weekend, June 7th to the 9th the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Cedar Band, is hosting their 32nd annual Restoration Gathering and Powwow. All of the activities are free and are meant to bring all people in the community together. The main arena of events is at 440 North Paiute Drive.
This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle and learn of traditional Paiute customs and dances. This should be an interesting and fun activity for the entire family. The dancing is set to begin, tonight, June 8th, at 7 PM. The dancing will continue until 10 PM.
Saturday morning there will be a parade along Main Street at 10 AM. The Grand Entry will take place at 1 PM. The dancing and festivities will continue until 5 PM. The event then breaks for dinner, and at 7 PM there will be a last Grand Entry of the celebration. Dancing will continue then until 10 PM.
