This is something that I was playing with after reading a blog several weeks ago by Russel Ray, in which he suggested photographing historical buildings in black and white to add historical context to them. This is especially true if you are listing a historical home or even an older home from say, the 1950’s. It appeals to the nostalgia that most of us feel. This photo is of the City Hall in Cedar City, it used to be the Post Office:
Without the traffic lights and the cars, this may have been taken yesterday or a long time ago. Just another idea to attract interest to your listings. I believe that anything that causes a potential buyer to linger, is a good thing!
