Tonight is one of those nights when there are a couple of great things to do. The Trinity Lutheran Church is also hosting a great event. I will be honest, in my opinion, any event with food rocks! Here is their great activity, they have made the traditional Oktoberfest into Novemberfest. This will be held 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (410 E 1935 N, Cedar City) across form Fiddlers Elementary. There will be food and fun for all ages including German music, decorations, and food. Admission is $10 adults, $5 for children (5yrs to 12yrs), and children under 5yrs free with an adult.
Generous German-style food will include: Brats and Buns, Pork Roast and Sauerkraut, Home-made Root Beer, Potato Pancakes, Apple Sauce, Sauteed Onions and Peppers, Salads, Great selection of Pies and Cakes. This is a fund raiser for the Trinity Lutheran Church. For information call 435-586-7103. Sounds like a deliciously fun thing to do!
This is part of the plaque on the World War I Veteran’s Memorial at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Cedar City. Clarence Benson is my Grandfather, so this one is a little more personal than the rest. Thank you all of you who have served us!
