The Cedar City Real Estate Market has a few Planned Unit Developments, or PUD’s, The Black Rock Subdivision is one of those. This is a well maintained PUD in so much I thought that it was newer than it is. Black Rock was built around 1996. I thought that it was built around 2000, but I was mistaken. It is comprised of detached single family homes that are generally 3 bed 2 baths with anywhere from 1200 to 1900 square feet depending on the model.
There are currently 5 homes listed for sale in our MLS ranging in price from $120,000 to 160,000.
This was a build out subdivision, in the final phase there are still a few lots left to build on. It is a very well kept, nice subdivision on the West side of the City, just off of Highway 56.
Market Update 2/9/2012: There is currently 1 home listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. It is listed at $162,000. In the past 12 months there have been 6 homes sell. The sale prices ranged from $90,000 to $120,000. There are no lots currently listed for sale.
Black Rock remains one of the really nice areas in the Cedar City Real Estate Market.
