The FA Thorley Subdivision is one of our larger subdivisions. It was built in several phases and is intersected by Interstate 15. It is just South of Southern Utah University, and does go up on to Leigh Hill West of Interstate 15.
The Subdivision is across the street from University Parking areas and the Tennis Courts. These homes were built in the early 1970’s, they typically have lots that range .19 of an acre to .5 of an acre. It is a subdivision with mature trees and is usually pretty quiet.
Currently there are 5 homes listed for sale in the F A Thorley Subdivision ranging in price from $187,000 to $299,900. These homes are around 1600 square feet, usually with at least a partial, if not a full basement.
Market Update 9/18/2012: There are currently 2 homes listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. One is listed at $195,000 and the other is listed at $265,000. In the past 12 months there has been 1 home sell. It sold for $137,000. There is 1 lot currently listed for sale. It is listed at $34,900. This lot is .31 of an acre in size.
The FA Thorley Subdivision is a unique subdivision in that there was a large time span between the different construction phases. It is still one of the more desired locations in the Cedar City Real Estate Market.
