My purpose in writing about the subdivisions in the Cedar City area is to let people who are considering buying a house in Cedar City know what they can expect to find in The Cedar City Real Estate Market.
Pinewood Park is a stable subdivision, currently there are no homes for sale in our Multiple Listing Service in Pinewood Park. This is a subdivision that is still very desirable to first time home buyers, especially those with families.
Pinewood Park is located near the Juniper Haven and Palmer Plus Subdivisions that I blogged on last week. Pinewood Park was built in the late 1970’s, and has a nice blend of homes from ranch styled homes to some modern style and even a few manufactured homes. It is a subdivision with mature landscaping.
For those looking to buy this subdivision, if it had any homes listed, right now would sell in the $109 to the $145K range typically. There may be exception to that, but of the 3 homes that have sold there in past little while, that is the range. Like I said, this is a great place to raise a family, it is near shopping and not too far from schools.
Market Update 2/17/2012: There is currently one home listed for sale in the Multiple Listing Service. It is listed at $114,900. In the past 12 months there has been 1 home sell. It sold for $145,000. There are no building lots for sale in the Pinewood Park Subdivision. This really is one of the great established neighborhoods in the Cedar City Real Estate Market.
